Main purpose of job:     
Support the DIT Latin America and the Caribbean (LATAC) Marketing and Communications HUB in the delivery of integrated campaigns, which include marketing and communication activities.


Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:    

As part of the regional DIT Marketing & Communications team, the job holder is expected to: 

Marketing Activities
• Managing the inventory of GREAT branding material
• Updating the LATAC activities calendar, raising key events that will require support and be the liaison with the Mexico team for marketing campaigns 
• Producing audiovisual material for DIT teams (videos, photos and infographics in Photoshop and/or online resources like Canva). 
• Supporting with webpage creation and the emailing system for the region
• Generating marketing monthly reports on number of leads received, newsletters sent, landing pages created, number of click on bit.lys, number of events

Social media
-  Supporting the content production and management of the DIT LATAC twitter accounts
-  Overseeing the implementation and finances of paid digital campaigns

Communications Activities (only for DIT Mexico sector teams)
• Photo coverage of events 
• Media confirmations 
• Supporting DIT and GREAT events (press conferences, receptions, other events) with: 
        a. logistics
        b. branding set up 
        c. welcome press

• Proven English proficiency

• Organisation skills
• Ability to summarise information
• Writing texts and copy skills
• Proofreading 
• Social media savvy (Twitter, LinkedIn, Medium)
• Data analysis (for social media and digital marketing tool)
• Office basic skills
• Video and graphics edition skills
• InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or similar


Language requirements: 

Language: English & Spanish

Level of language required: Excellent language skills both written and spoken
