Roles and responsibilities: Transport Services – 80% - Transport staff and visitors to and from assigned destinations within Bamako
- Airport collection and drop off of staff and visitors
- Distributing letters and invitations; carrying out errands and undertaking other administrative details as required on behalf of Embassy staff.
Vehicle Maintenance and Management – 15% - Keep accurate records of mileage and fuel consumption
- Carry out daily inspections to ensure that all vehicles are road worth and in good working order using vehicle inspection checklist. Promptly report any defects, faults or mishaps that occur to the Transport Manager
- Ensure that the vehicle is clean and tidy
- Ensure that vehicles are parked in a secured area
- Communicate clearly through the use of mobile phone and car or hand held radio set
- Participate in bi-monthly radio checks. Report any radio faults to the Embassy Transport and Logistics Manager
Administrative Support – 5% - Assist with ad hoc admin duties, as required by the Transport Manager/Corporate Services Management
