Security

Main purpose of job:

The security guard will report directly to security supervisor and will serve as a key member of the British Embassy Guard Force.

Roles and responsibilities 

  • Report to duty security supervisor regarding any damages and security related matters.
  • To ensure no unauthorised personnel or vehicles enter the compound.
  • Issue correct passes and log the details of staff, visitors, residence visitors and vehicles that enter within the compound.
  • Screen letters, parcels and vehicles that come within the compound
  • Report to duty security supervisor regarding any type of incidents and log in occurrence book.
  • Control access of visitors at pedestrian and consular section.
  • Patrol and ensure the compound is safe.
  • Monitor CCTV and in case of any incident report immediately to duty supervisor and make sure it is logged.
  • In case of any type crisis, follow the instructions from Duty Supervisors and act accordingly.

 

Class X passed & Basic computer skill is required.

At least 1 year of experience in the security field will be preferable.

Day shift : 0730 to 1530 & Afternoon shift: 1530 to 2330
