Main purpose of job:


Support the UKVI Bogota team during the LATAM Visit and Student peak season, principally leading on the printing and dispatch of visas across LATAM.


Roles and responsibilities:


Elected candidate should comply with the following responsibilities:


  • Support the Remote Printing Officer on daily printing and dispatching the visas that have been issued in Croydon, Sheffield and Liverpool.
  • Keep pace with a high workload. Ability to work under pressure.
  • Keep up to date the remote printing spreadsheets according to the team established guidelines.
  • Develop visa dispatch tasks. Have a cordial communication with our courier services and request on time the supplies that the team needs to dispatch the visas around the region.
  • Have a cordial communication with our Commercial Partner VFS. Request and provide updates of outstanding visa cases.
  • Keep team visa queries e-mail inbox up to date.
  • Support the Assistant Deputy Head of UKVI LATAM in the development of the communications strategy during the peak season.
  • Support the Head and Deputy Head of UKVI LATAM with responsabilities required.

Language: Well written and spoken English and Spanish


Level of language required: B2



Desirable: Management of social networks and communication skills.

UKVI has a flexible working policy. Due to the high demand during visas peak season, the chosen candidate may have to work overtime on occasions, which will be financially compensated according to the UKVI/British embassy after hours work policy. Flexible shift patterns may be considered, but as the principal duty is printing visas, all of which need to be finished each day, principal consideration needs to be given to this.

Chosen candidate should have a high sense of responsibility and team work. During peak season the work pressure and workload is high. The candidate must be in the position to colaborate and support the team in any task required.
