The British Embassy in Vilnius is part of a world-wide network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas and is looking for a Regional Finance Manager that will work closely with partners to provide financial analysis, insights, and guidance to ensure robust financial management. The Regional Finance Manager will report to the Regional Deputy Finance Hub head.

The Regional Finance Manager will join the Regional Finance Hub team, located in the British Embassy Vilnius. The Hub provides professional financial services, including monitoring and reporting on the financial activities of all British Embassies located across Europe and Central Asia. Each Regional Finance Manager manages a group of countries, forging strong relationships with the customers to meet agreed financial standards and procedures, and works closely with colleagues both in the Hub and Finance Business Partners located in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in London.

Excellent oral and written English skills.
Undergraduate Finance Degree. Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles is essential.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance related role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a desire and ability to partner with colleagues (both finance and non-finance).
Display a can-do attitude with a practical and creative approach to problem solving.
To be analytical, with attention to details and the ability to keep the big picture in mind while focussing on the details and complexities of implementation.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel).

This is a full-time, 35 net hours per week, permanent contract, EO grade position.
The start date for the position is as soon as possible, subject to the availability of the candidate and the length of the recruitment process.
We offer:
- A base salary EUR 2949 (gross), a Professional Qualification Allowance EUR 583 (gross, should the candidate meet required criteria: undergraduate finance education and at least 3 years of relevant experience) and sports allowance that is paid on top of the base salary.

- 35-hour working week with a focus on work-life balance. Please note that while we offer some homeworking, this is primarily an office-based job.
