Driver / Messenger
  • To drive the staff members to various locations in accordance with a daily schedule
  • Ensure vehicle is driven in accordance with road traffic regulations
  • Ensure and maintain the roadworthiness and cleanliness of the vehicle
  • Assisting with general duties such as hand deliveries, banking in checks, paying bills etc when needed
  • Possess a valid, class D driving licence with at least 2 years experience
  • Good knowledge of roads within Klang Valley
  • Proficient in English language
  • Physically fit with excellent eyesight
  • Good time management skills
  • Willing to work out-of-office hours when required

  • Proficient in Microsoft office

The British High Commission offers a competitive remuneration package – monthly salary offer starts at MYR 1,640 (salary depending on skills and experience), benefits, a leave entitlement of 20 days per annum, and a 4 ½ day working week.  Working hours are 8.00am – 12.30pm and 1.15pm – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am – 1.15pm Friday (36.25 hours per week). Specific training and mentoring for the role will be provided for the successful candidate.

Employment offers are subject to successful clearance of pre-employment checks. No accommodation or relocation expenses are payable in connection with this position.

Staff recruited locally by the British High Commission in Kuala Lumpur is subject to Terms and Conditions of Service according to local employment law.
