Main purpose of job:   To carry out electrical “preventive and breakdown” tasks as per compliance.Provide a high quality and cost effective electrical services.

Roles and responsibilities

Provide electrical assistance including fault finding and trouble shooting on all electrical installations including electrical panels, switch gears, motors, fire alarm system etc.

Provide electrical assistance to contractors to ensure British Standards and H&S compliance guidance are being followed.

To complete all the related documents and forms in line with compliance by using MS Office.

To seek value for money for all projects without compromising required standards. Stand in for Electrician and Generator Mechanic colleagues whenever needed.

Able to liaise with utility companies in particular Karachi Electric to trouble shoot any problem at their end.

Resources managed (staff and expenditure):

1 x S1 Assistant Electrician. Inventory of Electrical items.

  • B Tech or Diploma holder in electrical field with a minimum of 5 years experience of hands-on experience of fault finding and trouble shooting in an industrial environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of Health & Safety principles
  • Having good IT skill

Language requirements:

Language: English

Level of language required: Basic spoken and written English

Knowledge about electrical British Standards. Good team player having sense of responsibility, quick learner, able to take initiative and accept challenges, self drive. Respects customers and colleagues.

SALARY PACKAGE

For British High Commission (BHC) candidates, the Local Staff BHC Terms & Conditions will apply.

For other than BHC candidates, salary will be ­­­­­­ PKR 66,643/-per month
