Main purpose of job:

To provide assistance to ViceConsul at British Consulate Cancun.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Work to deadlines whilst portraying a professional image since the incumbent will be frontline for our customers.
  • Occasionally available to assist to distressed British Nationals in person, over e-mail and on the telephone.
  • Occasionally required to provide full time (planned) leave cover for the Vice Consul.

  • Bachelor's degree student.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • To be proficient in Windows and IT literate.
  • Very punctual.
  • Organized.
  • Proactive.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Good level of both written and spoken English and Spanish.
