View Vacancy - Administrative Assistant – NCA Bogotá
Main purpose of job:
This role provides financial and administrative support to the NCA offices in Colombia and the region.
Roles and responsibilities:
On the financial side, the purpose of this position is to coordinate and maintain accurate records of payments in compliance with financial reporting guidelines.
On the administrative side, the jobholder will provide general office support to the NCA team across a wide spectrum of activities.
The jobholder will work closely with other colleagues in the NCA administrative team and there will be a level of crossover between their functions and sharing of responsibilities.
Financial management and reporting (60%)
- Day to day financial record keeping.
- Negotiations with suppliers and processing of payments.
- Ensure correct and timely submission of monthly accounts.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls.
Administrative support to NCA team (40%)
- Assist colleagues with travel bookings and translations of official documents and correspondence.
- Coordinate logistical arrangements of events hosted by NCA.
- Provide linguistic support for non-Spanish speaking trainers and visitors.
- Perform secretarial duties for the NCA Regional Manager.
Essential on arrival: At least 3 years previous work experience.
Desirable: Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
Due to the security of this position you must hold a passport from at least one of the following countries: UK, US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand
The NCA Office Manager position will become vacant in approximately 18 months’ time. The successful candidate for the Administrative Assistant position would be considered a good candidate to fill the Office Manager position when it becomes vacant.
