The British Consulate General in Istanbul is part of a world-wide network representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas and is now looking to hire Entry Clearance Officers for its UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) section.

Eligibility: The successful applicant will be required to obtain the necessary security clearance. Higher clearances can be granted only to certain nationalities. For this reason, candidates must be of British, American, Australian, Canadian, or New Zealand nationality in order to gain the level of clearance required for this role. |

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for a period of 12-months, with the possibility of renewal, for 5 working days (36.25 hours net) per week.
The monthly base salary for this position is $2,900.00 gross, EO level. Please note that staff members are responsible for paying any income tax required by local law.
The successful candidate will be subject to a professional background check, security clearance and a probation period of 2 months.
All applicants should have the right to live and work in Turkey. For security clearance reasons the successful candidate will need to hold British, American, Australian, Canadian, or New Zealand nationality. The British Consulate General in Istanbul does not sponsor work permits.
