The post is a maternity cover position for a Programme Officer position. The B2 Programme Officer will manage and deliver the education programme in Human Capital and Development Team (HCDT) at British Embassy, Development Section. S/he is primarily responsible for Programme and financial management, to ensure the effective implementation of the Programme. S/he will work with teams across the British Embassy, government agencies, service providers and other donors.

Essential on arrival: The key essential criteria of this role are as follows: 1. Takes the initiative, prioritises, and deliver at pace, can work independently with limited supervision. 2. Strong written and oral communication skills, including strong organizational skills; able to work under pressure and manage multiple work streams. 3. Experience in Programme and Financial management; including understanding of Procurement Processes of complex projects.
